About

I'm Matthew, a photographer from Carmarthen in South Wales. I like to document the natural world, big & small. I think it's important to slow down and notice what's around us, there is a whole world that goes unnoticed because of its scale. With the state that the environment is in, it's more important now than ever to take the time to appreciate and protect the natural world, and I hope that by drawing attention to the incredible plants and creatures around us I can make a small difference towards that.

I've been using a camera since I was a child, mostly taking out of focus images of bug life but sometimes mixing it up and taking a wonky image of a tree instead. The images are (mostly) in focus these days, but the subject matter hasn't really changed in the last three decades.
